Let’s start this victory by telling a story….go back to August of 2004, Norwell was playing South Adams in varsity action and at the end of that night Norwell beat South Adams 3-0 and that was the very first varsity coaching victory for Coach Krull. Now fast forward 17 years to tonight’s match where Bellmont was playing Northrop. At the end of the night Bellmont defeats Northrop 3-0 and that brings the varsity coaching victory count to #500 for Coach Krull. The Bellmont Volleyball team played with a lot of poise tonight and were able to stay on task vs the host Bruins. Northrop had some talented players but the serving pressure and quick offensive strikes kept Bellmont ahead in the match. It might just have been another match for the Bellmont Squad but it was one that will be placed in the memory vault for Coach Krull. There have been numerous players throughout the years and each and every member has held some part of these victories. Many thanks go out to all that have believed in the program and stayed true to representing Bellmont in the volleyball world. Coach Krull especially is thankful for his wife (through all 500 wins) and 3 kids (through most of the wins) and is looking ahead to victory 501.
