(10-23-21) Ft. Recovery and Minster Girls Cross Country Teams picked up D III District titles this weekend in Columbus Grove.

Waynesfield-Goshen’s Taylor Spencer picked up the District 2 individual championship with a time of 20:00.4. Coldwater’s Haley Alig was 2nd with a time of 20:27.5 and Ft. Recovery’s Ellie Will was 3rd in a time of 20:33.4.

In the District 1 meet Minster picked up the title, thanks to 1st and 2nd place finishes by Margaret Hemmelgarn (19:22.6) and Taylor Roth.(19:24.8), also placing for the Wildcats was Chaney Cedarleaf, Cameo Cedarleaf and Morgan Ketner placing 4th, 5th and 6th.

St. Henry finished 2nd and advances to Regionals next week.

Columbus Grove’s Trent Koch won the District 1 race in a time of 16:36.6. Marion Local’s Noah Budde finished 5th. Parlway boys finished 4th and will advance to Regionals.
