(1-14-22) According to a tweet by WLIO’s Sports Director Perry’s 1st year boys head basketball coach Clay Tucker has resigned due to personal reasons. Tucker has led the Commodores to a 10-2 record and leading the Northwest Central Conference.
Tucker, a 1998 Perry graduate, served a year as an assistant coach at Lima Senior. He was a graduate assistant last season at Auburn on the staff of Bruce Pearl,
Assistant coach Mark Hoersten will coach the team for the remainder of the season.
The Commodores game with USV tonight has been postponed due to health and safety protocols.
