In the quarterfinal games Defiance shut-out Russia 11-0, while Coldwater beat Napoleon 1-0.
Defiance beat St. Henry in the semifinal game on Monday 18-6, Coldwater advanced to the title game with a 3-2 win over host St. Henry.

It is the 5th time in ACME history Defiance and Coldwater have played in the Championship game, the Bulldogs are 5-0. Defiance won its 1st state title in 1987 beating the Cavaliers.
