Blackhawk Christian Braves 2022 Football Schedule

Ft. Wayne’s Blackhawk Christian will play its first ever football game in school history on Saturday, August 20th against the Tri-State Crusaders (Harlan, Indiana). The 2022 season also includes games against a Michigan team and an Illinois team.

Black Christian Athletic Director Joel Cotton commented on the inaugural season for the Braves:

“We are very excited about the first Blackhawk Christian football season in our school’s history! It has been quite a task to build a schedule, coaching staff, and roster, but I could not be more pleased with the job that Coach Brice Bennett has already done. He is doing a great job of building our program with a foundation that will continue to last into the future. The one thing that has continued to impress me is that the majority of our roster are boys that were not already involved in a fall sport last year. That excites me because it shows there was a demand there and it now gets those students plugged into a team, a coach, and the experience of playing a high school sport.”
