Coldwater Wins 2022 MAC Tournament And MAC Championship, Jordan Hemmelgarn Named Player Of The Year

(9-25-22) If your schools colors are orange and black….yesterday was a good day at the Arrowhead Golf Club at the Midwest Athletic Conference (MAC) Girls Golf Tournament. The top 3 teams all have those school colors, Coldwater, Minster and Versailles.

Coldwater won the outright 2022 MAC Championship when they picked up the tournament win, just ahead of Minster and Versailles. All three teams were 7-1 during the regular season. The championship is based on regular season and tournament results total points combined.

Coldwater was led by MAC Player of the Year Jordan Hemmelgarn who shot a medalist score of 85, teammate Natalie Ashbaugh added an 89. New Bremen’s Abbie Burden was 2nd shooting a 88. Versailles Ella porter had an 89.
