(10-15-22) The O-G cross country teams took advantage of running at home sweeping the 2022 Western Buckeye League (WBL) Cross Country Championships run at Ottawa Memorial Park.

The Titan girls nipped 2nd place Shawnee 66-63 to pick up the title. Celina was back in 3rd with 96 points. It was O-G’s 1st girls cross country championship.

Celina’s Kaylie Dameron (Sr) picked up her 3rd WBL Individual championship in a time of 18:54.53. Leading O-G was led by Alexa Fortman (Sr) with a 2nd place finish in a time of 18:59.57 and a 5th place finish by Madelyn Hovest (Jr) in a time of 19:18.04.

COMPLETE – Girls Results

O-G picked up the boys title by outdistancing Bath 72-91…Van Wert was 3rd with 96. It was the Titans 2nd boys WBL title with the last coming in 1985.

Shawnee’s Noah Williams picked up the individual title finishing in time of 16:13.77. O-G was led by a 2nd place finish by Ty Rosengarten (Soph) in a time of 16-25.51.
