(12-28-22) Kenzie Miracle (Sophomore) made Celina wrestling history today when she battled back from a 2-1 deficit to pin Findlay’s Rylee Touhalisky opponent at 5:45 to become the first female wrestler to win a double elimination tournament today at Tinora.

Miracle (ranked #13th in the state) pinned state ranked #11 Charlie Distlel of Arcadia in 1:42 to reach the championship match at 105.

With the win Miracle improved to 10-3 on the season by capturing the 105 lb championship.

It was a good day for the wrestling program as Bulldog boys also won the Parkway Holiday tournament for the 5th straight year. The Green and White was led by title wins by Zack King and Gavin Brown.
