Carroll Back-Up QB Transfers To Bishop Dwenger

(3-3-23) Last season Carroll went to the IHSAA 4A State Football Championship game, The Chargers entered the game undefeated thanks to Homestead transfer Sophomore QB Jimmy Sullivan…they lost to Center Grove 35-9. Sullivan would be injured in the 4th quarter and that is when back-up Jr QB Ethan Springer entered the game, at 3:02 he would throw the Chargers only TD of the day a 26 yard pass to Camden Hershberger.

Springer saw very limited action this past season at QB playing behind Sullivan. Most likely that would not have changed this fall with Sullivan remaining the starter.

Hearing reports that Carroll backup QB Ethan Springer has transferred to Bishop Dwenger. He saw the tweet.

Springer has verified on his Twitter account that he will be playing at Bishop Dwenger during his Senior season.

In 2021 Bishop Dwenger QB Evan Springer, no relation to Ethan, was the starter for the Saints . Evan transferred to Bishop Dwenger from Ohio powerhouse Cincinnati Moeller before his Senior season and replaced graduated QB Brenden Lytle.
