(3-23-23) Blackhawk Christian picked up a hard fought Indiana High School Athletic Association (IHSAA) Class 2A State Championship today beating Linton-Stockton 52-45

It was a day to remember this past year…in which a beloved coach Marc Davidson passed away from cancer in May…and a new beginning of the Braves program with new Coach Matt Roth.

This was a day that would have put a smile on Coach Davidson’s face, who despite his illness kept the program running at a high level both on the floor and off the floor. In this story Blackhawk Christian Coach Matt Roth said-

“Two of the things that I took from coach Davison that I hold dear to my heart were, No. 1, his competitive drive for excellence. He pursued it in everything he did.

“The second is the way he loved these young men, and loved everybody at the school. He was beloved by everybody, and that’s what made him so unique.”
