Philstavious Dowdell…Victim Of Alabama Mass Shooter, Gone To Soon

(4-16-23) Last night four people were shot and killed and as many as 20 reportedly injured following a shooting Saturday night in Dadeville, Alabama.

One of the four victims was Phil(stavious) Dowdell, who was attending his sister’s 16th birthday.

Dowdell played for Dadeville High School and in February had committed to Jacksonville State University to play wide receiver. He was also a 1st team All State defensive back.

His Jacksonville State football coach Rich Rodriguez posted a statement on Twitter:

On Friday night at the Troy (Ala) Invitational, Dowdell placed first in the 100 dash and second in the 200 dash. He was also a member of the Dadeville basketball team.
