(4-30-23) This weekend saw lots of all star high school basketball games in Ohio and Indiana. Four games in total at the Nancy Rehm Border Wars Classic in Ft. Wayne, Indiana and the OHSBCA All Star game at .Olentangy Liberty HS.

On Friday at the Ohio High School Basketball Coaches Association games the South girls hung on for 71-70 win over the North. Fairland’s Tomi Hinkle was named the game MVP.

In the boys game… the South All-Stars beat the North All-Stars 109-99 The South’s Kyler D’Augustino of Alexander, scored a game high 23 points, was named the game’s MVP.

Ohio State signee Austin Parks from St. Marys Memorial, led the North with 18 points.

The Northeast Indiana stars swept both games The girls beat Northwest Ohio 92-81 and the boys beat Northwest Ohio 88-85.

Norwell’s Luke McBride won the Nancy Rehm Border Wars Classic MVP award. He scored 17 points to lead the Northeast Indiana stars. In the girls game, Ft. Wayne Northrop’s Nevaeh Jackson won the Nancy Rehm Border Wars Classic MVP award, scoring 25 points to lead team Northeast Indiana.
