Hoosier North Athletic Conference Adds Football Only Member…More To Come???

(5-7-23) Dominoes seem to be falling rapidly. The Hoosier North Athletic Conference (HNAC) recently lost two members to a new forming conference…LaVille and Knox.

Remaining members of HNAC (6) will be – Caston, Culver Community, North Judson-San Pierre, Pioneer, Triton and Winamac

Per A.D. John Haggard, South Central will be leaving the Greater South Shore Conference and joining the Hoosier North Athletic Conference for football in either 2024 or 2025, depending on whether the GSSC agrees to let them go for 2024. SC will remain in the PCC otherwise.

After losing two member schools the HNAC made one move this past week…South Central, according to Jim Peters, will be joining as a ‘football only‘ member, the Satellites will remain in the Porter County Conference (PCC) in all other sports.

But the rumor mill is very active…from some very reliable sources…at least one new member school has been lined up and will compete in all sports.The school being considered will lead to more changes and a new headache for the conference they are presently in.

Two other schools have also shown interest, should they be added they will not have an impact like the one member mentioned above.
