(5-10-23) Last night in Day 1 of the Midwest Athletic Conference (MAC) Track Meet at Cardinal Stadium in New Bremen the Versailles girls team and Marion Local boys team took the lead in the team standings.

After five events the Versailles girls picked up 44 points with Coldwater in 2nd with 37.5 points.

In the Long Jump Mara Pearson of Ft. Recovery set a new record with a jump of 17.11.50, in the prelims she had a jump of 17′.25″.

In prelims Izzy Zahn of Coldwater set a new meet record in the 200 meter dash with a time of 25.71, a record set back in 1992 by Holly Hegemann.

After 5 events in the boys meet Marion Local leads Minster 57-32.
