(9-26-23) The Greencastle Tiger Cubs are leaving the Western Indiana Conference (WIC).

The Greencastle School Board approved the measure last night at its monthly meeting, accepting an invitation to join a new unnamed conference in the 2025-26 school year. 

The No-Name Conference—

  • North Putnam
  • Crawfordsville
  • North Montgomery
  • Western Boone
  • Frankfort
  • Southmont
  • Cascade

Today it was confirmed that Cascade would also join the new league…Cascade had earlier announced that were going to leave the Indiana Crossroads and rejoin the Western Indiana Conference in 2024-25.

With the departure of Greencastle, the WIC membership in the future will include….Brown County, Cascade, Cloverdale, Edgewood, Indian Creek, Northview, Owen Valley, South Putnam, Sullivan and West Vigo.
