(12-13-23) The Parkway Board of Education hired Reynoldsburg native Brian Schmidt as Parkway’s new head varsity Football Coach at tonight’s Parkway Schools Board of Education meeting.Schmidt has coaching and management experience in professional indoor football.

Schmidt has BA in Sports Management from Southern New Hampshire University

Schmidt and the football coaching position were not listed on the BOE’s agenda tonight.

According to his Linkedin profile he has never coached a high school football team at any level.

Schmidt replaces coach Jake Circle who was a part of the recent controversy taking place in the parkway football program, including being charged with a DUI and followed up by being indicted..
