(5-9-24) Day 1 of the Western Buckeye League Championships is in the books. The final day is scheduled for tomorrow.
COMPLETE INDIVIDUAL RESULTS
In the girls meet Bath, the host school, is in front of O-G 26-20.
The Wildcats did not win an individual title, but balance in the 3 events kept them in front. They finished 2nd and 3rd in the High Jump with Karlie Wallace and McKenna O’Kief, and 2nd and 3rd in the Discus with Claire Foust and Vanessa Ruble.
O-G won the 4×800 relay and Emma Hoffman in the Discus.

In the boys meet O-G is just four points ahead of Shawnee 28-24. The Indians Joel Stirn won the Long Jump and his teammate Akyus Richardson won the Shot Put.
