(3-10-25) Last week was one of finger pointing by Ohio high school girls basketball fans complaining about site selections for the state semifinal site selections. In the first year of seven divisions, the semifinal games are played a week before the all of the finals are played at UD Arena.

What was the beef? The majority of those games were played on high school sites, including local schools gyms at Elida and St. Marys.

Today’s announcement of sites for the boys semifinal sites will make the discussion very interesting, including why do the boys play at college sites and girls on high school floors.
