(5-14-26) Will Garlock was officially approved by the Parkway Board of Education last night as the new head boys basketball coach at Parkway. Prior to taking over the Parkway program, he served as an assistant coach for the men’s basketball team at Defiance College.
Garlock joined the Defiance College men’s basketball program as a student assistant coach prior to the 2020-21 season and was tabbed an assistant coach after earning his bachelor’s degree in integrated social studies education from DC in 2024.
A 2019 graduate of Lima (Ohio) Central Catholic High School, Garlock played basketball, baseball and football for the Thunderbirds.
Garlock replaces veteran coach Doug Hughes who recently stepped down from the position.
