
(6-12-26) Grand Blanc High School and Davison High School announced they are leaving the Saginaw Valley League.
The two schools will be moving to the Oakland Activities Association.
The athletic directors from each school confirmed the move Friday afternoon.

Each school received an official acceptance letter Friday from the Oakland Activities Association, the OAA currently has 22 schools in the conference.
The schools will play their final seasons in the SVL in the 2026-27 school year, before moving to the OAA in the fall of 2027.

The Saginaw Valley League (SVL) is one of Michigan’s oldest high school athletic conferences, founded in 1904.

- Mount Pleasant High School – Oilers
- Traverse City Central High School – Trojans (football only)
- Traverse City West Senior High School – Titans (football only)
South Division
- Carman-Ainsworth High School – Cavaliers
- Grand Blanc High School – Bobcats
- Lapeer High School – Lightning
- Heritage High School – Hawks
The league currently has 11 full-time members, with Traverse City Central and Traverse City West participating only in football, bringing football membership to 13 schools.
