Two D VII Region 28 Schools On ‘Life Support’

(8-31-26) D VII Region 28 could be in jeopardy of losing two schools before the season ends due to ‘low numbers‘.

The Dayton Daily News’ Steven Wright posted two stories on ‘X’ today that indicate that Springfield Catholic Central and Twin Valley South are facing the possibility of having their seasons ending early.

TVS cancelled their game this Friday against Preble Shawnee. The Panthers are 0-2 on the season and have been outscored 69-8.

Despite the scheduling change by Southeastern, Catholic Central is set to play Friday night against Triad.

Both Catholic Central and TVS are in D VII Region 28, which also has several Midwest Athletic Conference teams, New Bremen, Minster, Marion Local and Ft. Recovery…plus Ft. Loramie and Waynesfield-Goshen.
