(2-8-17) It was a good day for bowling in Auglaize County, as St. Marys and Wapakoneta went 1-2 in both the boys and girls championships.
St. Marys won the WBL Girls Bowling Championship outdistancing neighbor Wapakoneta 3,735-3,631. St. Marys Jami Dunlap finished in 1st bowling a 596 (198, 184 and 214) series for the Roughriders, Katie Manger of Wapakoneta had a 584 and Alicia Herman of Defiance had a 570.

Bath’s Bryana Twining was named the WBL Bowler of the Year.


Celina’s Dorian Regedanz Named Second Team WBL


In the WBL Boys Championship Wapakoneta won the title beating St. Marys 4,551-4,377. Defiance’s Alex Coble finished the tournament in first place with a 779 (255, 248 and 276), Wapakoneta’s Brandon Kenard rolled a 724 series and St. Marys Gunner Kruse rolled a 686. St. Marys Austin Cook was named the WBL Bowler of the Year.
