(2-23-17) The 2017 SSN Girls High School Basketball Team is dominated by players on the Indiana side of the Stateline.
Three of the five players named this year to the All-SSN Girls Basketball team are from Indiana, including Player of the Year Grace Hunter. Hunter, who is just a Sophomore, is also the team’s Captain and was the main reason Bellmont won the NE8 title this year.
After a game this season Head Coach Andy Heim told the Journal-Gazette:
“She just kind of takes it all in stride. She has played in big AAU games that have helped her out. She was a leader on the floor that helped us get through that (rally).”
