(2-24-17) The Celina girls bowling team put on quite a show in the DI Sectionals with a 2nd place finish and just 21 pins behind (3,878-3,857) Sectional Champs Bowling Green. WBL rivals Wapakoneta (3,824) and Shawnee (3,578) finished third and fourth to advance with Celina to the Districts next week.
It was a record breaking day, in the 3rd game the Bulldogs rollled a 973 school record led by Mackenzie Regedanz’s 234, Dorian Regendenz with a 232, and Allison Lehman 198.
The Regendenz sisters were on fire, Mackenzie rolled a 638 series (190, 214, 234) and Dorian rolled a 622 series (244, 146,232) to lead the way.
