(3-9-17) Boylan’s Zach Couper has been named the 2017 NIC 10’s Boy’s Basketball MVP for the second straight season. Couper helped the Titans to the NIC 10 title.  Couper averaged 23 points a game, including a 50 point game against Auburn this season.  Couper will continue his basketball career at the Air Force Academy.

Titan teammate Kevin Diemer was also named to the 1st team, Hononegah added two players to the top team, Josh Donaldson and Max Miller, Jefferson had two players on the squad as well, Quillin Dixon and Myquion Garrett. Filling out the rest of the 1st team, East’s Charles Burnell,  Auburn’s Terry Ford, Belvidere’s Will Morris and Harlem’s Allen White III.

The first team is made up of seven Seniors and three Juniors. First year Boylan Head Coach Brett McAllister was named NIC 10 Coach of the Year, McAllister stepped into the run the Titans after Mike Winters resigned at the end of last year.
