(9-29-17) – That was close! Kimberly avoided an upset and hangs on to beat Appleton North 38-31. With 33 seconds to go in the game the Papermakers would regain the lead on a 46 yard TD pass reception by Jr WR Zach Lechnir to give Kimberly their 63rd consecutive win.
Next week the Papermakers will take on Kaukauna.

Rival Kenai Central gave Soldotna all they could handle on Saturday night. The Kardinals held the Stars scoreless in the 1st quarter and would stay close going in at halftime 21-7. The second half adjustments by Soldotna worked well as Kenai Central was shut-out in the 2nd half. The Stars would win #57 in a row 43-14.
The Stars were led again by running back Brenner Furlong who scored Soldotna’s 1st TD on a 75 yard run, he would add three more on the night. Brandon Crowder and Aaron Faletoi also hit pay dirt.

Bishop Guilfoyle had no problem winning #53 in a row with a 35-0 win over Penn Cambia. The win streak is the 3rd longest win streak in Pennsylvania state history

Cartersville had no troubles in winning their 36th game in a row beating Central 55-6.

Trevor Lawrence, who has committed to play at Clemson had 5 TDs, leaving the game with just over 2 minutes to go in the third.
Wagoner had no trouble winning their 42nd consecutive game beating Miami 55-14.
QB Blake Dumond hooked up with Nikia Jones on 4 TD passes of 77, 41, 19 and 25 yards.
The 42 win streak ties Oklahoma’s 11-man record held by Ada from Sept. 17, 1993-Sept. 20, 1996.
The Bulldogs defense held Miami to -28 yards rushing.
