(10-1-17) Several changes this week in the SSN National Public HS Football Rankings.
The Top 4 remain the same, #1 Grayson picked up a big win beating Ramsay (Ala) 42-16. #2 DeSoto beat Cedar Hill 21-7, #3 Wake Forest had the week off and #4 Cartersville’s high-powered offense continues to put up a bunch of points in 55-6 win over Central.
#5 Miami Northwestern loss to national power IMG Academy 21-0 and drops out of the Top 10. It was tough week for the Bulls, their Dance Team the ‘Golden Girls’ had a video go viral about some recent outfits and a routine they performed at half-time last week.

The new #5, ranked team this week and enters the rankings for the first time is Centennial (6-0) (Peoria, Az). The Coyotes upset national power St. Thomas Aquinas (Fla) 12-0, a definite surprise to many experts.
Despite winning Bingham and Sheridan drop one spot each to #6 and #7. Lincoln-Way East handled Homewood-Flossmor 29-7, the second week in a row they have knocked off an undefeated team and remain at #8.
Centennial (Corona, California) drops 2 spots to #9 after a bye week, they are still the only team in the rankings with one loss. #10 Cocoa drops one spot to #9, even though they hammered International School of Broward 70-0.

Sidney (6-0) remains on the bubble, they manage to pull out a 34-33 win over arch-rival Piqua in the ‘Battered Helmet‘ game.
