11-11-17 – It was a special day for New Bremen sport fans as the Cardinals picked up the OHSAA D IV State Volleyball title beating St. Thomas Aquinas 25-9, 25-28 and 25-20, the first title in any sport for the school.
New Bremen entered the tournament as the #1 team in D IV in Ohio, they finish the season 28-1, their only loss was to MAC rival Ft. Recovery during the regular season.

University of Michigan commit, Paige Jones led the way with 25 kills and 3 service aces and 6 digs. Abbie Thieman had 20 assists and Katie Heistand added 1- digs.
