
Sidney High School senior running back Isaiah Bowser has been named the winner of the 2017 James A. Rhodes Award presented by the Touchdown Club of Columbus to the Ohio High School Football Player of the Year. Bowser rushed for 2,686 yards in 2017 averaging nearly eight yards per carry. He scored 32 touchdowns (29 rushing) and passed for three more scores. Bowser concludes his high school career with nearly 5,500 rushing yards and 74 total TDs. He intends to continue his student/athlete experience at Northwestern University upon graduation in 2018.

The 2017 James A. Rhodes Award will be presented during the 63rd Touchdown Club of Columbus Awards on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Express Live! in the Arena District.
