Fairmont’s Jack Hendricks Has Record Setting Day

Congrats to senior Jack Hendricks on setting the school records for points scored in a game (53) as well as made threes (15) in a game. He was named MVP of the game in the Pioneer Showcase. (12-31-17) Fairmont Senior (G) Jack Hendricks must like playing in the Hoosier State. On Saturday during the Pioneer Showcase, in a 117-64 win over Indianapolis Washington, Hendricks scored a school record 53 points, including 15 3-pointers.

His 15 point 3-pointers is one behind record holder J.T. Hoyng of Sparta Highland, who had 16 behind the arc in 1998. His 53 points beat the Firebirds previous record which was 47 points.

The Firebirds as a team hit 20 3-point field goals and that ties Fairmont for 3rd place with three other teams.
