(1-15-18) The Celina Bulldogs boys bowling team picked up another tournament championship winning the Lima Temple Christian Pioneer Classic.

In the final 8 team match play #1 seed Celina beat #8 Defiance 3-1 to advance and followed that up with a 3-1 win over #4 Wapakoneta. #3 seed St. Henry advanced to the final beating #6 LCC 3-1 and then knocked off #2 Shawnee 3-1.

In the qualification round, the Bulldogs ‘Dynamic Duo’ of Cole Cisco and Nate Langenkamp led the way as Celina went into bracket play as the #1 seed.  Cisco had the highest tournament average of 231.3 (246, 237, 211) with a series of 694. Langenkamp (254, 200, 199) rolled the highest game of the day with a 254 in game 1. Celina’s Garrett Forlow (188, 202, 171) had a 187 average for the day.

St. Henry ended the round in 3rd place, led by Logan Rindler (178, 209, 246) with a 211 average, Trey Beuhrer (168,196,182) with a 182 average and Matthew Mescher at 181.7 (149,206,190).
