(1-22-18) Celina’s Kole Murlin (Center, Senior) is this week’s SSN Player of the Week.

Murlin led the Bulldogs last Tuesday night to their first win of the season beating Bath 56-46 and  scoring 9 points and 12 rebounds.

Murlin helped to stop Bath’s  Harrison Gough (6-8 Senior), who is committed to Wittenberg, and helped to hold him to five points on 2-of-5 shooting.

Celina Head Coach Jay Imwalle told the Daily Standard after the game:

“Kole, Corbin and Drake (Langenkamp) when he came in did a pretty nice job on him. Kole got two over-the-back (personal foul) calls on (Gough) when he boxed out. I told Kole and Corbin that I didn’t care if they didn’t get the rebound, make sure (Gough) didn’t (Gough did finish with nine rebounds).”

On Friday in a WBL loss to state-ranked O-G, Murlin had 12 points.
