(7-17-18) Ft. Recovery’s Nick Thwaits had an impressive start to his professional baseball career in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Thwaits pitched a scoreless two innings (2nd & 3rd), walked just one and struck out three in the AZL Padres 1 loss to the AZL Giants Black in 12 innings. It was his first appearance after being drafted 15th by the Padres.
