(7-26-18) – As football season approaches in Ohio, the Parkway Board of Education made it official on Tuesday night with the hiring of Rob ‘Dusty’ Rutledge as new Panther Head Football Coach.
Rutledge returns to his alma mater after a very successful run as a college assistant coach.
Rutledge’s assistants were also approved during the meeting:
- Jason Kinney as Varsity Football Assistant Coach
- Joel Henkle as Varsity Football Assistant Coach
- Aaron Temple as Varsity Football Assistant Coach
- Jordan Thompson as Varsity Football Volunteer Assistant Coach
- Gary Fox as Varsity Football Volunteer Assistant Coach
- Jeff Farmer as Varsity and Junior High Volunteer Assistant Coach
- Chad Bruns as Varsity Football Volunteer Assistant Coach
The Panthers open the season against two Northwest Conference opponents, with the opener on August 24th at Crestview, followed by the home opener against Spencerville. On September 7th the open MAC play with defending D VI State Champion Marion Local.
