(9-8-18) In North Carolina, former Celina football coach Jared Rolfes has his Page Pirates on a roll going 4-0 to start the season with a 37-22 win over Eastern Guilford.

Rolfes told greensboro.com after the win said the Pirates need to improve on another slow first half start:

“A big evaluation needs to occur Sunday when we meet, because it’s getting to the point where it’s going to create problems for us. It almost did tonight. We have to find a way to execute better in the first half. I don’t know if it’s us as coaches or it’s the play calls. … it’s a combination of things that have occurred during the course of the season. We have to figure that out.”

One highlight last night for Eastern Guilford was a 53 yard field goal by Collin Smith.

Up next for Page is Ronald Reagan (3-1) who beat Mount Tabor last night 34-32.
