(9-11-18) The Ohio High School Volleyball Coaches Association (OHSVCA) week 1 poll was released today.
The Midwest Athletic Conference once again finds numerous teams over the D III and D IV polls. Seven out of 10 teams to be exact, very impressive.
In D IV the top three teams are from the MAC, leading the way and off to a fast start is St. Henry who is ranked #1 with 24 1st place votes and 348 points. The next two spots feature two more MAC teams, New Bremen is #2 and has 11 1st place votes and just 7 points behind the #1 Redskins with 341 points. In third is Ft. Recovery with 261 points.
Two other MAC teams are in the rankings, Marion Local at #8 with 89 points and New Knoxville comes in at #13 with 43 points.
In D IV, the Western Buckeye League’s O-G Titans are #1 with 22 1st place votes and 376 points. The MAC is represented by by Coldwater and Versailles at #7 both with 121 points.
