(11-21-18) Ft. Recovery will be looking for a new Athletic Director, Kurt Rammel has stepped down, the Ft. Recovery Board of Education acted on the resignation last night. Rammel’s last day will be December 12th.
It has been an honor and privilege to work as the Athletic Director at Fort Recovery Local Schools over the past five and a half years. During that time, I was fortunate enough to build some great relationships with our student-athletes, which I will miss dearly. I would like to thank each and every one of them for the hard work they put forth during my time here. I wish the past, current, and future Indians nothing but successes moving forward. I will cherish the times spent watching all of you grow from a JH student to HS graduate. I would also like to thank our administration, coaches, and teachers for their support over the years. My days were filled with many good times and great memories. Thank you for all you do for our students. As a parent, it is comforting to know our school has great people leading the way and great teachers leading our youth. Lastly, I would like to thank my own family for the sacrifices they had to make during my time as AD. We are extremely excited about my opportunity to become a full-time dad and husband. I am looking forward to spending more time with my wife, kids, and extended family as well. I look forward to my new journey in the marketing field and joining a great company. The last list of people I would like to thank is the media and officials. Thank you for your dedication to high school athletics and our student-athletes.
