(7-12-19) The Kenton Wildcats finished their first day in North Carolina competing in the Powerade 7on7 Invitational going 5-2 on the day.
After pool play the Wildcats trail Bryant (Arkansas) who went 7-0. Kenton lost to Bryant 25-14 in their fifth game of the day. The Wildcats other loss was to Hough (North Carolina) 30-18, who went 3-4 in pool play.
Tomorrow in bracket play Kenton, who is seeded 8th overall, will play Johns Creek (Georgia) who is seeded 25th and went 2-5 in pool in the Potassium Division.
This year’s Invitational had 32 teams representing 19 states competed, Kenton was the only team from Ohio competing
