Despite the 23rd place finish Celina Coach Kieth Kiefer talked about his team’s effort –
My overall thoughts is that with a squad of mostly sophomores and lacking some Varsity experience/confidence, is that we did really well for playing against some of the best teams in Division 1 and Division 2.
There is now a more calming and positive feeling as we left Columbus knowing that even though we aren’t peaking at our highest level that we are very well capable of doing some great things this season.
Celina’s Britt Hole rolled a 556 series to lead the Bulldogs.
Celina and Coldwater both qualified for the championship round, with the Bulldogs finishing 7th and Coldwater 12th.
