(5-14-21) The Minster Wildcats swept the Midwest Athletic Conference Track and Field Championships today in Ft. Recovery.

The Minster girls outscored Versailles 135.5-108, while the boys beat 2nd place Marion Local 168-130.5.

BOYS Titles

Minster – Bryan Falk (100 and 200), Alex Albers (800 and 1,600) and Russell Heid (pole vault), the 1,600 relay team of Brady Hoelscher, Nathan Droesch, Joseph Slonkosky and Falk, the 3,200 relay team of Hoelscher, Josh Niekamp, Mathew Droesch and Albers, the Minster 800 relay team of Nathan Webb, Phil Trzaska, Jack Kohne and Evan Dorsten,

Parkway – Blake Strickler (3,200)

Marion Local – Ben Heitkamp (110 hurdles), Marion Local 400 relay team of Brayden Pavelka, Kyle Otte, Alex Eyink and Peyton Otte

Coldwater – Tyler Schwieterman (300 hurdles) and Jesse Meyer (high jump and long jump)

GIRLS Titles

Minster – Ella Boate (1,600 and 3,200) and Margaret Hemmelgarn (800)

New Knoxville – Lola Thompson (200) and Avery Henschen (discus)

New Bremen – Tess Lane (100 hurdles) and Elli Roetgerman (high jump)

Marion Local – Sam Hoelscher (300 hurdles) and Molly Winner (shot put), the 3,200 relay team of Mason Pohl, Hemmelgarn, Taylor Roth and Boate

Coldwater – 400 relay team of Mallory Kremer, Becca Wenning, Maria Clune, Allison Hamberg) the 800 relay team of Kremer, Wenning, Clune and Ava Giere the 1,600 relay team of Beth Honigford, Sara Honigford, Clune and Giere

Fort Recovery – Mara Pearson (long jump)
