(12-1-21) Yesterday was a tragic day when three Oxford (Michigan) HS students were shot by another 15 year old student. Eight other victims were admitted to area hospitals, some in critical condition.
Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard identified the three students who died as 16-year-old Tate Myre, 17-year-old Madisyn Baldwin and 14-year-old Hana St. Juliana.
According to a student, who started a petition to rename the stadium in his name, Tate Myre attempted to disarm the shooter. Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard said that Myre died inside a patrol car as deputies rushed him to a hospital.
Myre just competed his Junior season for the Wildcats and this past weekend he attended a University of Toledo football game on a recruiting visit.

On Tuesday 11/30 at around 1pm there was an active shooter in Oxford High School who killed 3 people and injured many more one of the students was killed in an attempt to disarm the shooter, this student is Tate Myre, Tate is not just a hero to his fellow students at Oxford high school but a legend, his act of bravery should be remembered forever and passed down through generations, he put his life in danger to try and help the thousands of other students at Oxford High School

Tate was a wonderful young man who was tremendously hardworking and respectful. He was a tremendous football player with the brightest of futures and was an even better young man off the field as he was on it. We all loved Tate and he will so very much be missed
