February 17, 2022 – McClintock High School (Tempe, Az) announced today that they will formally recommend Mike Fell as their next head football coach. The recommendation of Fell for the open position is pending final approval by the Tempe Union High School District Governing Board. The next scheduled Governing Board meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2022.

Coach Fell most recently served as Mountain View’s head football coach from 2016 to 2020. He has held a variety of head coaching positions during the past 31 years in both Arizona and Ohio.

Fell moved to Arizona after teaching and coaching throughout Ohio (Lima Sr., Ada, Celina and Columbus Grove) for nearly thirty years. He is a four-time Ohio Coach of the Year, and past president of the Ohio High School Coaches Association. He graduated from Ohio University with an undergraduate degree in education in 1984 and earned a Master’s degree from Marygrove College (Detroit) in 2003.
