(5-3-22) The Van Wert City School District Athletic Facility Bond Issue received an early football win in Tuesday night’s primary election, picking up 72.6 % of the vote (2,154-814) to pass.

The school district approved the renovation referendum for Eggerss Stadium for $5 million through a 20-year bond to fund renovations to the stadium, built in 1936.
Items on the list of renovations includes handicap seating, locker rooms,concessions are dated, safety railings, a new press box and a turf field.
