Bret Baucher To Be Named New Celina Girls Basketball Coach

(5-14-22) Bret Baucher is set to become the news girls basketball coach at Celina. The Board of Education will look to approve that hiring at Monday night’s meeting

Baucher is a 1999 Celina Graduate and a 2020 member of the Celina Athletic Hall of Fame. He presently works in the Celina City School System as an Intervention Specialist.

While at Celina he has been a Boys Assistant Varsity Basketball Coach and Assistant Varsity Football Coach, including being the Offensive Coordinator.

Baucher will replace Branden Rushton, who leaves after two seasons. Rushton will run the new Rush Sports Complex in Celina.
