(6-22-22) And the winner is…Hononegah who picks up their 12th consecutive NIC 10 All Sports Trophy and 19th overall. Boylan was the last school to win the title in 2009-10, 13 years ago. Since 1998-99 only the Indians and Boylan have won the All Sports Trophy.

Hononegah’s NIC 10 All Sports Streak Continues Despite The Pandemic

The 12 in a row is not a NIC 10 record, Guilford holds that winning 14 in a row (includes one tie) from 1980-81 to 1993-94, the streak was stopped when Hononegah won its 1st All Sports Trophy in 1994-95.

Four schools have not won the All Sports Trophy, but one came close for the first time in school history…Belvidere North was 2nd just 42.5 points behind the Indians.
