(8-26-22) One school that did not survive this week…Shiner (Texas) lost to Halletsville 14-7 and that stopped their 30 consecutive game winning streak.
Most of the other teams on the US HS Football Current Consecutive Game Wins list had no trouble in adding another victory.
Two teams, Andale (Kan.) and Royal (Washington), still waiting to play their games, will get that opportunity this weekend..
Six of the teams on the list scored 40 or more points in their wins, Riverheads (Va) who has the most consecutive wins (51), led the way with 61 points.
The ‘close call’ game of the week came in Indiana, with Center Grove knocking of Carmel 30-26.
