
(1-28-23) St. Marys Memorial HS 6’11”senior center Austin Parks (a 4 year letterman and starter) scored a single-game school record 45 points on Saturday during the Roughrider’s 92-64 victory over Sidney HS (7-11) at the Grand Lake Health System Court in St. Marys, Ohio.

This broke a 58 year old school record set by Dave Williams, who scored 43 points in 1965 vs. Van Wert.
For this season, Parks is averaging 20.1 PPG, 5.5 RPG, 3.1 APG, 2.2 BPG, 2.3 dunks per game, while shooting 73.3 FG% and 74.1 FT% in leading the Riders to 8 straight wins and a 12-5 (4-2 WBL) overall record.

In November, Parks signed his national letter of intent to play college basketball at THE Ohio State University beginning in the 2023-24 season.
