
(2-24-23) Celina Freshman Jackson Newcomb ends the season at the OHSAA Swimming and Diving State Championships with a 15th place finish in the 50m freestyle and an impressive 10th place finish in the 100m breaststroke.
In the 50m freestyle Newcomb was the only Freshman to compete in the two finals, in the 100m breaststroke he claimed another school record, after setting it in last night’s prelims with a time 59.79.

Wapakoneta’s Alex Honingford finished in 4th place in the A final, while teammate Luke Wierwille was 12th place competing in the B final.

From the Stateline area Versailles’ Zach Ahrens finished 8th in the A final, and from the Western Buckeye League O-G’s Grady Steffan was 11th in the B final.
