(5-23-23) The 2023 All-SSN Mercer County Softball Team was named.

For the the third year in a row Coldwater’s Madison Wendel was named the player of the year, just a Junior she has already had a career that will be longed remembered.

Wendel proved on both sides of the plate her POY status this season by hitting over .500 and winning 20 games in the circle. She set many records this season including becoming the Cavs and Midwest Athletic Conference (MAC) all-time strike out leader.
