Marion Local made the long road trip to Linton (Indiana) and handled the Miners 45-6 to pick up its 49th consecutive win.
The Flyers are eight games away from reaching the Ohio all-time consecutive game winning streak at 57 and nine wins away from breaking the record.
The current all-time leader in Ohio is Delphos St. John’s with 57 consecutive wins and the Blue Jaysare in the same conference as the Flyers…the Midwest Athletic Conference (MAC). Versailles who had a streak of 54 consecutive wins is also a member of the MAC.
